Nazareth Hospital to host lood-pressure screenings

Nazareth Hospital, at 2601 Holme Ave., will host four upcoming free blood pressure screenings in its main lobby as part of American Heart Month.

Redeemer, Macy’s will offer Heart Healthy Expo Saturday

Holy Redeemer Hospital’s Cardiovascular Center and the Macy’s at Neshaminy Mall will offer a free Heart Healthy Expo on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will take place outside Macy’s and include health screenings, hand massages, sleep information, chair exercise demonstrations, a fashion show, opportunities to “Ask the Doctor” and a chance to win a Macy’s fragrance or cosmetic basket. Maternity BVM schedules eef ’n’ beer for March 22

Maternity BVM will hold a beef ’n’ beer on Saturday, March 22, from 8 p.m. to midnight in its parish hall at 9322 Old Bustleton Ave. Tickets cost $30. Live entertainment will be provided by the Exceptions.

Church selling pot pies

Crescentville United Methodist Church Women’s Fellowship is selling pot pies and assorted dishes.

Items available for purchase are chicken, beef and shrimp pot pies; chicken/broccoli; chicken parmigiana; roast turkey platter; macaroni au gratin; and apple deep dish.

The deadline to order is Feb. 16.

All items must be picked up from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22.
